Cake Bites

Posted by Lauren at 9:15 PM
2nd try at dipping the cake bites... total success! The key really is to get them nice and frozen. They came great! LOVE them! Gonna go deliver some extras tonight to some willing and eager guinea pigs.

To make these... All you need to do is bake a cake. Any cake! box mix, scratch recipe, whatever you want. Bake it and then cool to room temp.

Then you make the frosting or scoop it out of the can. Again, doesnt matter. I just prefer mine all made from scratch.

Crumble the cake into a bowl or in a food processor. I prefer to do this by hand. Make it nice and fine with no large chunks.

Then, by hand, Slowly add a little frosting at a time until it comes together into a doughy consistency. Scoop out with an ice cream scooper onto a tray and freeze overnight.

To make pops, insert the sticks AFTER they have frozen. This helps the stick stay in!

Once frozen, dip in some melted chocolate. That's it! decorate however you'd like and enjoy!
